Privacy

Privacy, plainly.

This site sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and sells nothing about you. What little happens behind the scenes is described here, in plain language.

Who is responsible

This website is run by Adam Hölzl, an independent digital designer based in Prague, Czech Republic. Anything about your data starts and ends with me: me@adamko.cz.

Hosting and server logs

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like every server on the internet, Cloudflare briefly processes technical data about each request: your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for. I use these short-lived logs only to keep the site fast, available and protected from abuse. They expire automatically within days and are never used to identify or profile you.

Analytics

I use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: which pages are read, which projects are opened, roughly which country visitors come from. The setup is deliberately cookieless. No analytics cookies, nothing written to your device, no persistent identifier following you between visits, and all advertising signals switched off.

Data is collected through Google's EU endpoints and reaches me only as aggregated statistics. Raw events expire in Google Analytics automatically, after 14 months at most.

Email

If you write to me@adamko.cz, I receive your address and whatever you choose to share. I use it for one thing: replying to you. Correspondence stays private, is never shared and is kept only as long as our conversation is relevant.

Legal basis

Under the GDPR, the processing above rests on legitimate interest: running a secure website and understanding, in aggregate, how it is used (Art. 6(1)(f)). Replying to your email is processing at your own request (Art. 6(1)(b)).

Your rights

You can ask me at any time what data I hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its processing, or receive it in a portable format. If you believe your data is handled wrongly, you can complain to the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz).

Questions

One address for all of it: me@adamko.cz.

Tell me what you're building.

No pitch, no pressure. Just a conversation. I read and reply to everything myself.
